Spaghetti Al Telefono is a vegetarian pasta dish that contains Mozzarella together with vegetables, which gives a wonderful aromatic pasta dish.
Equipment
- 1 Sharp Knife
- 1 Saucepan
- 1 Boiler
- 1 Silicone spatula
- 1 Silicone Pliers
Ingredients
- 2 liters Cold Water 70 fl oz
- 400 g Spaghetti 1 lb
- 1 pcs Mozarella Cheese
- 2 dl Canned Cherry Tomatoes 7 fl oz
- 1 pcs Yellow Onion
- 1 pcs Carrot
- 1 pcs Stalk Celery
- 5 pcs Basil Leaves
- 0,5 dl Extra Virgine Olive Oil 2 fl oz
- Salt
- Black Pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to the packaginginstructions and save 2 dl of the pasta water.
- Finely chop the onion, peel and cut the carrotand celery stalk into pieces.
- Fry the vegetables soft in olive oil.
- Add the tomatoes, season with salt and stir well.
- Add some of the pastawater.
- Let the sauce simmer for about 10 – 15 minutes.
- When its 2 minutes left of the cookingtime, add the spaghetti.
- Cut the mozzarella into cubes and mix it together with the pasta in the tomato sauce.
- Stir well and let the mozzarella warm up before serving.
- Serve in deep warm plates and garnish with the basil leaves.
