Plain Omelette The Easy Way
A standard omelette is cooked in butter on medium heat, is supposed to be golden brown or on the outside and soft in the inside a “French Omelette” should be cooked slowly over medium-low to medium heat, with initial stirring to prevent curds and sticking. The plain omelette is seasoned with just salt, pepper and some cheese if you want.

Equipment
- 1 Frying pan with non-stick coating
- 1 Silicone spatula
- 1 Bowl for whisking the eggs
- 1 Fork for whisking the eggs
Ingredients
- 3 pcs Eggs
- 0,5 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Butter
Instructions
- Crack the eggs in a bowl.
- Add salt to the eggs.
- Whisk the eggs with a fork until runny.
- Add butter to the non-stick frying pan.
- When the butter has darkened, add the eggs.
- Gently stir in the eggs.
- When the eggs start to become a little firm but still creamy. Lower the temperature and smooth the egg batter. Important not to continue with high heat here because then it will be scrambled eggs.
- Fold the omelet first from one side towards the middle.
- Then fold the other side of the omelet towards the middle.
- Put the omelette down towards the far side of the frying pan and shape it towards the edge.
- Carefully turn the omelet onto a plate and follow along so that it does not fall apart.
- The omelet should be firm on the outside and creamy on the inside.
